Grow your own cutting garden from a curated collection of varieties from Blazing Star Flowers! Enjoy specialty cut flower types rarely found at retail centers (bred to have long stems and repeat blooming) through this one-time seedling share. Our starts are grown using organic and sustainable methods and come in a flat of 18 fiber pots. They are mostly annuals but there may be a few perennials tucked in as well. Most are also fabulous attractors of beneficial insects and pollinators! Save $18 when you buy this full flat instead of individual pots.
Your seedlings will be available for pick-up from the farm in Alexander in early May. You'll be notified of the pick-up date one week beforehand when we see that the weather has settled and the timing is right for planting in our area. You'll receive detailed planting instructions with your seedlings but plan for an area with full sun of about 10 square feet or you can give them a bit more room or mix them in with your landscape if you like.
Similar to our other CSA shares, there are no guarantees of specific plants, varieties, or colors and all trays may not be identical. We grow our seedlings with great care ourselves but there are occasionally weather, supply chain, or events beyond our control that affect all of our crops including seedlings. We can however guarantee that you will receive healthy, happy seedlings in a gorgeous mix of colors, textures, and variety.
We reserve the right to make changes and substitutions to offer you the very best seedlings we have available. Your collection may include the following blooms: snapdragons. zinnias, lisianthus, cosmos, strawflowers, celosia, flowering dill, foxglove, verbena, and rudbeckia.
